Emergency Management

The town’s Emergency Management office and Emergency Operations Center are located at the Town Hall. Kensington Emergency Management is responsible for management, preparation, training and execution of emergency functions to prevent loss of life or property from natural or man-made cause including; flood, earthquake, hurricane, water contamination, drought, hazardous materials emergencies, weather related emergencies and epidemics. We are responsible for the planning and execution of Kensington’s radiological response plan for Seabrook Station.

Our team includes Fire, Police, Health, Town Officials and community members who work collaboratively to prepare for, train and help manage an emergency within the town. We work in concert with NH Homeland Security and Emergency Management, FEMA and other state and federal agencies.  If you are interested in being a member of the Kensington Emergency Management team or have a question about anything related to Emergency Management, please contact Fire Chief/EMD Jon True at 24chief1@comcast.net or (603) 918-1615.
